Why RedPanda Clean requests Gmail access
Gmail access is requested only when you choose to connect a Gmail
account and use Email Cleanup. The app uses Google OAuth and the
gmail.modify permission because the feature must both
read messages for review and perform the archive or move-to-Trash
action you explicitly request.
Data accessed
The app reads your Gmail account address and selected message metadata such as sender, subject, date, and message identifiers. Message content is retrieved only when you open an on-device, read-only preview.
How it is used
RedPanda Clean groups messages into user-facing cleanup categories. It can archive selected messages or move them to Gmail Trash after confirmation. It does not permanently delete Gmail messages.
How it is protected
RedPanda Clean never receives your Google password. OAuth tokens stay in the iOS Keychain, Gmail data is not sent to a RedPanda server, and Google user data is never used for advertising or analytics.

The free plan includes cleanup features and advertising. An optional monthly subscription removes advertising. Subscription billing and management are handled by Apple.
