Terms of Service

1. Developer and acceptance

RedPanda Clean (the “App”) is offered by an independent individual developer (the “Developer”), not by a company or organization. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. App Store license

The App is licensed, not sold. Unless a custom license is provided in App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these Terms conflict with mandatory legal rights or Apple’s applicable terms, those rights and terms control.

3. Purpose of the App

RedPanda Clean helps you review and manage photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, and—if you explicitly connect a supported provider—similar or low-value email groups. The App does not guarantee that items identified as duplicate, similar, old, incomplete, large, or low-value are unnecessary.

4. Permissions and connected accounts

You choose whether to grant Photos, Contacts, Calendar, tracking, or connected-email access. Gmail connection uses Google OAuth and the Gmail modify permission so the App can read message data, display on-device previews, archive selected messages, and move selected messages to Trash. Other supported email providers may require provider-generated credentials. You authorize the App to access and act on your content only as needed to perform the features and actions you request.

You may revoke permissions through iOS or the relevant provider and may disconnect an email account in the App. Our handling of personal information and Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your decisions, deletion, and recovery

You are responsible for reviewing every item before deleting, archiving, compressing, or modifying it. Deletion actions occur only after your instruction. Deleted photos and videos may remain in the Photos app’s Recently Deleted album for a limited time under Apple’s rules. Email cleanup moves selected messages to the provider’s Trash instead of permanently deleting them by default. Provider retention rules apply. Contacts or calendar changes may not be recoverable. The Developer cannot restore deleted content.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of your photos, videos, email, contacts, calendar information, and other content. You grant the App only the device or provider access required to perform the actions you request. You represent that you have the right to access and manage content and accounts you connect to the App.

7. Plans, subscriptions, and advertising

The free plan includes cleaning features and advertising. An optional Ad-Free Monthly subscription removes advertising but does not add or restrict cleaning features. Prices are displayed by Apple for your storefront and may vary by location. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and the subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings. Billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple under its applicable terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
• connect or manage an account you are not authorized to use;
• interfere with the App, provider services, security controls, or another person’s use of the App;
• attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the App where prohibited by law, or misuse Apple, Google, or another provider’s services.

9. Third-party services

Some features depend on services provided by Apple, Google, Meta, or an email provider you choose to connect. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and policies. RedPanda Clean is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, and Google is not responsible for the App.

10. Availability and updates

Features may be corrected, updated, suspended, or discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some functions depend on Apple system permissions, device storage, iCloud availability, network access, provider availability, and third-party services.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, including loss of data, arising from use of or inability to use the App. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

Your right to use the App ends if you materially violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time, disconnect connected accounts, and delete the App from your devices.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, or legal requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
